EMIL FROESCHEL'S CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPEECH THERAPEUTIC SCIENCE AND PRACTICE

The article presents the figure of prominent Austrian scientist Emil Froeschels, who introduced term “logopedics” into clinical practice, is considered founder speech pathology (speech therapy) education, founded world's first International Association Logopedics and Phoniatrics (IALP) a number other national associations unions. focuses on his leadership qualities as scientist, teacher public figure.
